To whom it may concern:

I am writing to inform you of my experience with two mattress suppliers in St. Catherines.

I purchased a double mattress set as well as two posture foundations from "The Mattress Shoppe" (Hartzel Road). I discovered that the posture foundations were not suitable to correct the problem which I had explained to the merchant. He reluctantly agreed to take back the posture foundations but refused even a partial refund after discovering that my son had carelessly rubbed the corner of one when removing it from the van. The damage was mainly rust, most of which brushed off. This leaves me with two posture foundations and an unhappy experience.

I then spoke to Bestway Bedding (Scott Street) and had two twin bed sets custom made to solve my problem. These sets were delivered two days earlier then promised with no custom charge, no delivery charge and no payment until actual delivery.

Being merchants ourselves, as well as Bed and Breakfast Hosts, I felt I should inform you as well as our B and B Association of these two extremes in business practices.
